Is it possible to have more than one mobile phone connected to the CK3100?
Up to five mobile phones may be paired with the CK3100 at one time; however, Bluetooth only allows for one active connection at a time. In order to connect the correct mobile phone:
- Disconnect the first mobile phone in order to connect the CK3100 to the second mobile phone. On the car kit, scroll to <<SETTINGS>>, <<PAIRED DEVICES>>, select the mobile phone you want to delete and select <<DISCONNECT>>. Press the green button to confirm.
- Deactivate Bluetooth on the disconnected mobile phone. The order in which the car kit connects to the mobile phone corresponds with the order in which the phones were originally paired with the car kit. When ignition is turned on, the CK3100 will try to connect to the first mobile phone on the car kit’s paired list. If this phone is not available, it will look for the second mobile phone (and so on).

I’m trying to pair my mobile phone but the CK3100 says “Memory Full.” Why?
A maximum of 5 mobile phones can be paired with the CK3100 at one time. If there are five phones paired with
the car kit, the memory is full. You must delete one of the phones listed to be able to pair a new mobile phone.
If this does not solve the problem, there could be one of two other reasons:
- You may need to upgrade the software to the most recent version with more memory capacity
- To determine the memory capacity of your car kit, scroll to <<MENU>>, <<SETTINGS>>, <<INFORMATION>>, <<MEMORY>>. If the memory available is around 10 Kb you will need to flash the car kit via serial cable to the latest version available.
- To determine the software version on your car kit, go to <<SETTINGS>>, <<INFORMATION>> and the software version will be displayed.
- You may have an installation problem. Make sure that the car kit displays the message “Goodbye!” when you switch off the ignition. If this does not happen, the red and orange wires of the power cable have been reversed. You will have to swap the fuses of both the orange and red wires with one another. This should solve the problem.

How do I erase a phone in the memory of the car kit?
Memory erasing deletes the pairing, the phonebook and the voice tags stores in the car kit.
To erase the memory of the car kit, PRESS the RED and GREEN BUTTON at the same time. You may hear
“MEMORY ERASING IN PROGRESS, PLEASE WAIT”. You will then hear “PLEASE PAIR DEVICE”. You
may now pair your phone.

How do I program car kit voice tags so that I can use the voice recognition feature?
(Note: the mobile phone must paired and connected to the CK3100.)
TO ADD A VOICE TAG TO A CONTACT IN THE CAR KIT MEMORY:
Scroll to <<MENU>>, <<VOICE COMMANDS>>, <<PHONE BOOK>>, Select contact and follow the vocal instructions.
TO ADD A VOICE TAG TO A CONTACT STORED ONLY IN YOUR MOBILE PHONE:
- You must first record ALL of the menu keywords such as "PHONE", "HOME", "WORK”, "CELL", etc. To do so, scroll to <<MENU>>, <<RECORD KEYWORDS>>. (Note: If the microphone is set to below a 75% level, it may cause the voice tag to activate too easily.)
- Then you must send a contact to the car kit and assign a voice tag to that specific contact. On the car kit, scroll to <<MENU>>, <<ADD VOICE TAGS >>. On your mobile phone, select a contact, select << OPTIONS >> and choose <<SEND>>, <<VIA BLUETOOTH>> to the car kit. When the car kit has received the contact, the voice training procedure will start. TROUBLE SHOOTING

Why do the recorded voice tags in the car kit disappear when I turn off the ignition?
The voice tags may dissapear because the wires have not been wired correctly. If the car kit does not display the message “GOODBYE” when you switch off the engine, it is most likely because the red and orange wires of the power cable have been reversed. You should check the installation.

What should I do if the automatic synchronization between the phone and the car kit does not work properly?
There are a few cell phones that won’t synchronize properly with the car kit, such as the Sony Ericsson K600 and Sony Ericsson K750i; however, these phones will work with the car kit if you manually push your phone contacts to the car kit.
- Delete the pairing of your mobile phone on the car kit, and of the car kit on the mobile phone’s Bluetooth menu.
- Start a new pairing using the menu on the car kit: <<SETTINGS>>, <<ADVANCE SETTINGS>>, <<PAIR WITH PHONE>>, select <<SE K600 / K750I NO SYNC>> mode. This establishes only an audio connection between your cell phone and the car kit; there is no automatic synchronization with the phone book, but you can manually push the contacts to the car kit from your cell phone via Bluetooth.

Why can I only hear the conversation through my two front speakers, when my car is equipped with front and rear speakers?
The internal amplifier of the car kit has output for only two speakers; therefore the conversation will only be heard through the front speakers while the car kit is in use. The mute cable will take care of switching of the signal for the other two speakers of the car. When the car kit is not in use, all car speakers will be active.

Why is the message “No Signal” is displayed on the CK3100?
Your car kit has a problem that probably requires professional service. Please see your installer.
When the car kit displays the message “No network”, what does this mean?
This message usually means there is no connection between your cell phone and the cellular network. This is usually a temporary problem experienced as you drive through a void area or your signal is out of tower range.

Why can’t I hear the person who’s calling me?
Press the green button on the car kit to make sure the conversation is not in PRIVATE mode. Check to see if you can hear the car kit voice menu. If you still cannot hear the person calling, you might have a faulty unit.
